9th October 2014
Well summer is finally over with the rain and wind arriving this week. Simply cyclists are still keen to attend our sessions at all venues but numbers are down a little. There are quite a good number of cyclists who don the waterproofs and ride no matter what the weather. Our ride out today was great with about 13 miles covered from Wythenshawe to Sale along the River Mersey and the Bridgewater Canal. Special mention must go to British Waterways who have resurfaced the towpath from Sale all the way to Broadheath with extra smooth tarmac – making a lovely ride.
Don’t forget the Halloween cycling party on 31st October at WythenshawePark track – 5.30 til 7.30 with spooky cycling in the dark, music and food available. — £2, what a bargain. Don’t forget your spooktacular costumes !!!
See you there or I will set the zombies on to you.
